    Vilkår for kjøp, frakt og levering hos Teàdal Studio.

    Shipping & Delivery

    Shipping

    Items are shipped via Posten (Norwegian postal service). The buyer covers shipping costs, which are shown at checkout.

    Current rates: NOK 99 for delivery within Norway, NOK 199 for international delivery. Free pick-up options are also available.

    Studio pick-up

    By arrangement, items can be collected in Gamlebyen, Oslo at Hollenderkvartalet 2 B. Items can also be collected by arrangement at Viarte Keramikkversted, Mariboes gate 13 C.

    Market pick-up

    It is also possible to collect your order at a market where Teàdal Studio is present, if arranged in advance. Keep an eye on the website and Instagram to see which markets Teàdal Studio will be attending.

    Purchase Terms

    Right of withdrawal

    The right of withdrawal does not apply to purchases from Teàdal Studio for two reasons: Teàdal Studio operates as a hobby business rather than a commercial enterprise, and the goods are handmade ceramic pieces that are unique by nature. Handmade and individualised goods are exempt from the right of withdrawal under the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act (angrerettloven § 22 b).

    If you have any questions or concerns about your purchase, please contact us directly — we always aim to find a good solution.

    Deposit

    For commission work and custom-made pieces, a deposit may be required before work begins. The deposit covers materials and time, and is non-refundable if the buyer withdraws from the order after work has commenced.

    Refund Policy

    General

    As Teàdal Studio operates as a hobby business and every piece is handmade, refunds are not offered as a general rule. Small variations in colour, shape and glaze are a natural part of handmade ceramics and are not considered product defects.

    Damaged goods

    If an item arrives damaged, please get in touch within 7 days of receipt with photos of the damage and the packaging. We will then find a solution together — either in the form of a repair, a replacement piece where possible, or a partial refund.

    Privacy Policy

    This policy explains what personal data Teàdal Studio collects, how it is used, who it is shared with, and how it is kept secure. Teàdal Studio is the data controller; for any privacy question, contact hello@teadalstudio.no.

    Information we collect

    When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, phone number and shipping address. Payment is completed on Stripe’s secure checkout page — your card details are entered directly with Stripe and are never received or stored by us.

    When you submit a custom-order request, we collect your name, email, optional phone number and location, the details of your request, and any reference photos you choose to upload.

    We do not offer customer accounts. Your shopping cart is stored only in your own browser and is not sent to us until you check out.

    How we use it

    We use this information only to process and deliver your order, handle returns or damaged items, respond to custom-order enquiries, and keep the records we are required to keep. We do not use your data for marketing, and we never sell it.

    Who we share it with

    To run the shop, we share data with a small number of service providers who process it on our behalf:

    • Stripe — processes payments and collects your name, email, phone and shipping address at checkout.
    • Supabase — hosts the database where your order and custom-order details are stored.
    • Vercel — hosts the website and keeps standard server logs.
    • The shipping carrier (Posten) — receives your name and address to deliver your order.

    Data is transmitted to these providers over encrypted connections solely to operate the shop. We do not otherwise share your personal data, except where required by law.

    Analytics

    This website uses Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies or collect personal data. Only aggregated, non-identifying visit statistics are recorded, and no analytics data is shared with third parties.

    How we keep it secure

    All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Card data is handled exclusively by Stripe (PCI-DSS certified) and never touches our servers. Stored order data is protected by database access controls and is accessible only to authorised studio accounts; administrative credentials are kept server-side.

    How long we keep it

    Order and custom-order records are retained for as long as necessary to fulfil your order and to meet our accounting and legal obligations.

    Your rights & contact

    Under GDPR and the Norwegian Personal Data Act (personopplysningsloven) you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, and to object to its processing. To exercise these rights, contact hello@teadalstudio.no. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
